Guidance Notes for Trainers
While this is not a teacher training service, it is worth highlighting that some of the fundamental challenges and barriers to effective climate adaptation stem from how information is communicated. In the presentation below we draw upon Malcolm Knowles – Assumptions of Motivation in Adult learning (1970, 1984), and consider how a range of adult learning methods and strategies (andragogy), can be addressed in a workshop setting. We believe incorporating these premises for adult learning and motivation will aid trainers in delivering their own bespoke training events.
