Training for Climate Change Adaptation

Developed by the Western Norway Research Institute (WRNI)/ Vestlandsforsking this online training resource provides guidance on how to address the impacts of climate change and incorporate adaptation measures into the development cycle. In appreciation of the need to bridge the communication gap between research, policy, and the wider public, this resource has the following goals:

  • To enhance awareness of the planning tools and processes that foster the development of adaptation measures,
  • To support the dissemination of this knowledge and expertise.

It is our intention that this resource provides a step towards bridging the communication gap between research, policy, and the wider public.

This ‘training for adaptation’ web resource is based upon an earlier online training resource developed by Vestlandsforsking in conjunction with the EU Northern Peripheries Programme (NPP) Clim-ATIC. Further details of this earlier resource can be found on the Clim-ATIC website.
